Chocolate Brownie Cookies www.cdkitchen.com/recipes/recs/368/Chocolate-Brownie-Cookies85733.shtml6 squares semi-sweet or bittersweet baking chocolate 4 squares unsweetened baking chocolate 6 tablespoons butter or margarine 1 1/4 cup sugar 3 eggs 2 teaspoons vanilla 1 cup flour 1 teaspoon baking powder 1/4 teaspoon salt 2 cups toasted, chopped walnuts (optional) Heat oven to 325 F. Microwave chocolates and butter in a large bowl on high for 1 1/2 to 2 minutes or until chocolate is almost melted, stirring halfway through heating time. Stir until chocolate is completely melted and smooth. Stir sugar into chocolate mixture until blended. Mix in eggs and vanilla. Stir in flour, baking powder and salt. Stir in nuts. Drop by rounded teaspoonfulls, 1 1/2 inches apart on to ungreased cookie sheet. Bake 12 minutes or until set. Do not overbake. Cool 5 minutes before moving from cookie sheet. Cool completely on wire racks.

I made these this afternoon, but I altered it a tad bit. I used 1 bar - Ghiradelli (4 oz.) bittersweet chocolate in place of the 6 squares of bittersweet baking chocolate, and added 10 oz. semi-sweet chocolate chips. I only used 1 c. chopped pecans in place of the walnuts. Oh my, what a chocolate rush! They are truly awesome!!
