APPLE RAISIN COBBLER
FILLING: 3 sm. apples, pared, cored and sliced 2 tbsp. raisins 1/2 c. water 1 tsp. granulated brown sugar 2 tsp. cornstarch Dash of lemon juice
CRUNCHY TOPPING: 3/4 oz. corn flake crumbs 3 tbsp. all-purpose flour 1 tbsp. and 1 tsp. shredded coconut 1 tbsp. and 1 tsp. margarine 2 tsp. granulated brown sugar 1/4 tsp. ground cinnamon Dash of ground nutmeg
To prepare filling: Combine filling ingredients in a 1 quart casserole. Cover and bake at 375 degrees until mixture is slightly thickened, about 20 minutes. To prepare topping: While filling is baking, prepare topping by combining remaining ingredients in small bowl and blending with a fork until mixture resembles coarse meal. Remove casserole from oven and sprinkle filling mixture evenly with topping. Return to oven and bake covered until crumbs are browned, about 15 minutes.
