Jumbled Fruit Crumble (from Better Homes & Garden Jr. Cookbook) 1 21oz can cherry, apple, or peach pie filling 1/4 tsp almond extract 8 2 1/2-inch graham cracker squares 1/4 cup butter 1/2 cup rolled oats 1/4 cup brown sugar, packed Vanilla ice cream, if you like Set oven to 375 degrees. Place the pie filling and almond extract in the ungreased baking dish. Stir gently with wooden spoon until combines. Spread mixture evenly in the dish. Put the 8 graham crackers in a plastic bag. Seal or tie bag closed. Use the rolling pin to finely crush the crackers. (Should be about 2/3 cup crumbs.) Put crumbs in the mixing bow. Put butter in saucepan and melt over med heat. Remove from burner. Put the butter, oats, and brown sugar in the bowl with the cracker crumbs. Stir mixture with fork until combines. Sprinkle over the pie filling in the dish. Put inot over and bake for 20 minutes or until crumbs are lightly browned. Let cool about 30 min. Serve warm with ice cream, if you like. My Granddaughters really like this. It makes enough to serve 6.
