Hi Lynn
I was browsing through Holiday recipes, seems a little neglected of late. Found your scone recipe and it sounds good, don't bawl me out to do what I am always recommending others do and Google it - can you please tell me a little info about the name "Cape Breton"?
You have been reported missing for a few days, working too hard again?

Hi Lynn
Thanks for the info re Cape Breton.
You seem to be burning the midnight oil again.
I forgot to say in tomorrow's newsletter that I can't find the ingredient Accent. I don't think it's available here.
I'm signing off now as I want to get your new zucchini recipe (cooking for 2) organised.

Hi Sylvia, Accent is the same as MSG. If you have that in Scotland, you will be ok if something calls for Accent. I don't use either one because I don't want those extra salts and presertives. This is what the 2 are.

Hi Chris, Thanks for the Accent info. I tried a search and had a hard time finding anything to do with food preservatives. Eventually my stubbornness paid off - like you I won't be using it, but for different reasons - it can cause allergies and I can't take any chances with my track history. The link is below for anyone to check it out: whatscookingamerica.net/Q-A/AccentSpike.htmI don't think it is available here and it's not available in Australia according to the site. Sylvia446
