Have recently been in Pennsylvania and had this delicious pork sausage when dining out. Was wondering if anyone had a recipe for that type of sausage, not sure if it's Amish or what, but yummy!! Thanks.....Edie

Hi Edie, Perhaps this will give you a place to start. This recipe was found posted at: www.hugs.org/Country_Pork_Sausage.shtml MMMMM----- Recipe via Meal-Master (tm) v8.05 Country Pork Sausage 6 lb Lean pork 3 lb Fat pork 3 tb Salt 2 tb Black pepper 1/4 ts Red pepper 4 tb Sage; sifted Put the pork through the meat grinder, add the seasonings and mix thoroughly. Grind again so the meat may be nice and fine. Savory, mace, cloves and nutmeg may be added if you like. You will find another tried and true recipe at this site: www.allbaking.net/cgi/msgbrd_frames?board=0&thread=33731A more detailed description of preparation here: bitsyskitchen.com/pork35.html
