Wareneki (Perogys)
1 - cup whipping cream 1/2 - tsp. salt 2 - cups flour 1 - egg white ..Mix to a smooth dough, and rollout fairly thin and cut out rounds with a large cup
Filling: 2 - cups dry cottage cheese Pepper to taste 1 - tsp. salt 1 - egg yolk 2 - tbsp. whipping cream
Place a heaping tablespoon on a round and cover with another round....pinch edges together.
Drop into a large pot of rapidly boiling water and boil for about 5 minutes or until the Wareneki come to the top.
Serve with "Cream Gravy"...
1/2 pint of Whipping Cream 1 Tbsp. of butter 1 Tbsp. Flour
Fry butter and add flour until browned, add whipping cream and boil until thickened.
Serve with fresh tomatos!!!
Leftovers good fried up the next day....
