Sugar Free Apple Lasagna
2 (20 ounce) cans apple pie filling 8 lasagna noodles, cooked and drained 2 cups part skim ricotta cheese ¼ cup egg substitute 1 teaspoon almond extract ¼ cup white sugar substitute ½ teaspoon cinnamon 3 tablespoons margarine 6 tablespoons brown sugar ¼ cup quick oats dash nutmeg 1-cup fat free sour cream. optional 1/3 cup browns sugar optional Method
Put one can pie filling in greased 9 by 13 by 2-inch pan. Layer 4 noodles over apples. Mix cheese, egg substitute, extract and sugar substitute; spread over noodles and top with remaining noodles. Top with remaining filling. Mix flour, cinnamon, margarine, brown sugar, oats and nutmeg; sprinkle over filling. Bake at 350F. for 45 minutes. Mix sour cream and brown sugar and top servings, if desired.
Yields: 15 servings Per serving: 233 calories; 6 grams protein; 6 grams fat; 10 mg. Chol.; 40 grams carbs.; 105 mg. Sodium; 1 gram fiber. If using the point system this is worth 5 points per serving
