Nancy's News Letters March 16th, 2003Thanks to everyone for the great pickled eggs recipes! Here's what my family of nine love to eat on their ice cream! Both recipes are delicious, easy and inexpensive! Peanut Butter Sauce1 cup sugar 1/2 cup water 1/2 cup peanut butter In a saucepan, combine sugar and water. Bring to a boil; boil one minute or until sugar is dissolved. Remove from the heat and add peanut butter. Place in a blender/food processor; blend on high until smooth. Cool slightly and use as topping on your favorite dessert. Yield: 1-1/2 cups sauce Peanut Butter Maple SyrupWe use this on everything from pancakes and waffles to toast and ice cream! It doesnt get much easier than this! 1/2 cup maple syrup 1/4 cup peanut butter In a saucepan over low heat, heat syrup until peanut butter is melted. (or just do what i do and zap it in the microwave! lol) Serve warm and enjoy! Yield: about 2/3 cup Happy Cooking! Tamara B. NE Ohio
