2 tablespoons salad oil 2 medium onions chopped 1 tablespoon all-purpose flour 1/2 cup chicken broth 1/2 cup sour cream 1 4 ounce can California green chilies seeded and chopped 3 cups mild cheddar cheese tortilla chips
Pour salad oil in to a 1 quart dish that you can latter serve dip from. Microwave 1 minute. Add onions and cook 3 to 4 minutes or until soft. Stir often. Blend in flour and gradually add chicken broth. Stir in sour cream. Heat uncovered 1 minute or until slightly thickened. Add chilies to sauce. Gradually stir in cheese until melted. Microwave 1 to 2 minutes if needed to melt cheese. Serve with tortilla chips.
