Onion Bagel Chips
This easy recipe is great and very tasty. It is wonderful with many spreads and dip, or just as a snack. They store very well in an airtight container for up to a week. For "freaky" bagel chips add black, green, or orange food coloring to the butter mixture before brushing it on.
1 envelope onion soup mix 2/3 cup melted butter 1 teaspoon crushed basil leaves pinch crushed oregano 1/2 teaspoon rosemary 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder 5 bagels, cut into 1/8 inch slices
Preheat oven to 250 degrees. Mix all of the ingredients except for the bagels. Brush each side of the bagel slices liberally with the mixture and place on a baking sheets. Bake for 45 minutes or until crispy and golden brown.
