Does anyone have a recipe for fried kibby that you'd be willing to share? I've done all of the searches but I'm hoping someone will have a tried & true winner. Thanks! Patricia, in Indiana

Hi Pattylou!
What is a "kibby"? Animal, plant or mineral? I am curious!

Hi Chris!
Raw kibby is a Middle Eastern dish made of ground lamb/beef, cracked wheat, onions & spices. As the name implies, it is eaten at this stage. Fried kibby is shaped like a small football and stuffed, usually with a pine nut mixture, then deep fried. I'm not sure of all the ingredients, nor the preparation, thus the question. If I come across a good recipe before I find it here I will be sure to post it for you.

Chris~ It appears that I posted this request in the wrong place. (New to this message board!) Where would I properly post it? Thanks, Patricia in Indiana

Hi Pattylou!
I would post this in the beef section. If you wait till the morning I will move it for you. Just got home from work at 9 PM here in NM. Went in at 1:30 PM. Did you see the message just below mine? anneo said she has seen it spelled kibbee. Maybe that is the help you need? Good luck!!!

Thank you Chris & anneo! I finally found it! While doing my search I've found it spelled several ways, including kibbee, kibbe, and kibbeh. The recipe link below spells it kouby. Go figure! www.twdg.com/cooking/recipe/kouby.htmlThanks again for your help! Patty Lou
