I just purchased this timer and the instructions state to always set your crock on the highest setting, I tried this and set the timer to 8 hours on low and it still seemed to over cook.
So, the next time I set my crock too low, and the timer to 8 hours on low, this seemed to slow everything down and not over cook.
My questions, does anyone else have this problem and am I going to ruin my timer, since the directions clearly state to set your crock to high?
I didn't want to purchase a new crock just to get a warm cycle, so I purhcased the timer instead. I leave at 7:00 am and I don't return untill 5:30 to 6:00 pm and everything seems to over cook, so I saw this Rival Smart Timer and I've tried it twice. It automaticly turns to warm after the set time.
