;D Beer and Brats
1 lb. – 6 to 8 fresh brats 2 cans beer 1 med. onion – quartered 1 tsp. celery seed 1 bay leaf German bread dumplings Gundelsheim sauerkraut or Gundelsheim red cabbage (imported German brand)
In covered saucepan, gently simmer brats, beer, onion, celery seed and bay leaf about 15 minutes or so. Remove from heat and let stand until ready to grill. Drain off liquid and toss onion. Grill brats about 6 minutes on each side. Makes 4 to 6 servings. Serve with German dumplings and either sauerkraut or red cabbage. Don’t over-grill the brats! Yum!!!!!!!
