Turkey Breast with Herbed Cream Cheese (crock pot) alt.support.diet.low-carb/Nadine (1999)
This isn't spicy, but it's "herby" and delicious. The cream cheese and spices make a paste that forms sort of a moist crust on the outside of the turkey. It's rather unusual -- and it's become our favorite turkey recipe. :-)
1 (5 to 6 lb.) turkey breast, fresh or thawed 2 Tbsp. butter 1 green onion, chopped fine 1 clove garlic, chopped fine 2 oz. cream cheese, softened 1 Tbsp. soy sauce 1 Tbsp. minced, fresh parsley 1/2 tsp. dried basil leaves 1/2 tsp dried thyme leaves 1/2 tsp. poultry seasoning 1/4 tsp. pepper
Place turkey in crock pot with 1/4 cup water. Combine remaining ingredients and spread over outside of turkey. Cover and cook on high for 4 to 6 hours or on low for 8 to 10 hours.

I tried this recipe and I loved it!
I'll definitely make it again. It's easy but tastes fantastic.
