Cream of Tomato Soup Serving Size : 4
Tomato mixture 28 fluid ounces canned tomatoes 1 teaspoon sugar ¼ teaspoon baking soda
Cream mixture ¾ cup cream ¼ cup water 1 tablespoon butter 1 tablespoon soy flour Salt and Pepper Garlic Salt
In a sauce pan or deep skillet Cook tomatoes and sweetener until tomatoes are are boiling rapidly. lower heat to simmer. While tomatoes simmer, in a separate large saucepan, heat cream, water, onion until hot but not bubbling. Add butter and slowly add Soya Powder, while using a wire whisk to stir at the same time. Remove tomatoes from the heat, add baking soda and stir until the foam is for the most part gone. Add tomato mixture to the Cream mixture and add salt, pepper and garlic salt to taste. NEVER ADD THE WHITE SAUCE TO THE TOMATOES OR THE CREAM MIXTURE WILL CURDLE.
