Hello, I am looking for the jello recipe that is prepared with cool whip mixed in with jello and let to sit, then you mix in a plain box of jello that has been flaked. The result is like a jello mousse with bits of plain jello throughout. Am hoping someone can help. Thank you Martha

I'm not sure if this is what you are looking for but when my children were younger they loved this,. I took 2 boxes of jello and made as usual. Put in the refrigerator or freezer just until slurpy. Add the cool whip and beat with mixer until completely incorporated. Then refrigerate for several hours until set. It is like a mousse. There favorite was with strawberry jello but any flavor will do. Sometimes you would see flecks of jello if I didn't get the jello quite at the slurpy stage.
