Swiss & Bacon Dip
8 slices bacon chopped 8 oz. cream cheese softened 1/2 C. mayonnaise 2 t. Dijon mustard 1 1/2 C. shredded Swiss cheese 3 green onions chopped 1/2 C. smoked almonds coursely chopped baby carrots, for dipping flatbread, thingytail size pumpernickel or rye bread for dipping
Preheat oven to 400.
Brown bacon in large nonstick skillet over medium high heat. Remove bacon with a spoon; drain on paper towels. In a large mixing bowl, combine cream cheese, mayonnaise, Dijon mustard, cheese, green onions and bacon. Transfer to a small shallow casserole or baking dish. Bake until golden and bubbly at the edges, about 15-18 minutes. Top with chopped almonds.
Place the dip in a platter; surround with carrots and breads for dipping.
