Hungarian Chocolate Biscuits
Preheat your oven to 190oC/375oF
4 oz butter 2 oz caster sugar (finer than granulated sugar) 1 tbs cocoa 4 oz plain flour pinch of salt 1 tsp vanilla extract
Grease and prepare a baking sheet
Cream butter and sugar until light and fluffy, add vanilla. Sieve together cocoa, salt and flour, stir into the creamed mixture. Roll into balls and place a little apart on the baking sheet. Press with a fork dipped in cold water.
Bake in the centre of the oven for 10 to 15 minutes. Sprinkle with caster sugar. Leave on the tray for 4 minutes before placing on cooling trays.
