I hope I am doing this right, first time. Anyway, I use a lot of resealable bags. I make a large omelet with everything in the plastic bag, then put it in a cooler. I also make precooked hamburger with all the sauces and put them in a plastic ziplock bag. I even put canned items such as fruit in plastic bags. (you don't have to deal with opening cans or carrying them out as trash). Actually everything I can, I put in convenient plastic bags. That way, all I add is water, noodles and the hamburger mix - in a pan and you have a great homemade meal. With the omelet, I just pour it in a pan in the morning, everything tastes fresh and wonderful, yet you did the work at home. Now for the good news. just burn the plastic bags that held the items in the camp fire and you have no trash to carry out.

Good morning Barbwheezer
Great idea. There is also the factor that if you are walking, hiking. rambling or even climbing there will be a lot less weight to carry.
Thank you and well done.
