It has been said that men don't eat quiche, in my opinion the men in my family eat whatever they want including all kinds of quiche.
Corn Quiche Lorraine Preheat oven to 220oC/425oF
For 4 -6 servings you need
Pastry: 6 oz Plain Flour pinch salt 3 oz fat approx 2 tbs water to mix
Filling:
Small can corn 2 eggs 1/2 pint milk 4 - 6 oz grated cheese seasoning
For the garnish: parsley and tomato wedges
Sieve the flour and salt, rub in fat and bind with water. Roll out and line flan ring Drain corn and mix well with the beaten eggs, add the milk, cheese and seasoning. Pour into pastry case and bake for 15 minutes in the hot oven then lower the heat to 200oC/400oF and bake for another 30 minutes. Garnish with parsley and tomato wedges
Serve hot or cold.
