Stuffed Green Pepper Soup from friends T & T
2 lbs. ground beef 2 qts. water 1 (28 oz.) can diced tomatoes, undrained 1 (29 oz.) can tomato sauce 2 c. cooked long-grain rice = 1/2 c. uncooked 2 c. chopped green bell peppers, about 2 large peppers 2 beef bouillon cubes 2 tbl. packed brown sugar 2 tsp. salt 1 tsp. pepper
In 6 qt. saucepan or Dutch oven, brown beef and drain. Add remaining ingredients and bring to a boil. Reduce heat; cover and simmer for 30 - 40 minutes or until tender. Makes about 16 servings.

I will add the rice - uncooked - to the rest of the ingredients and cook it all in our crock pot. I would also just use 1 c. uncooked to start with. This is very good, too!
