There is nothing nicer than wax dripping down a candlestick - looks Christmassy, BUT removing it is tedious.
A hollow candlestick is easy to clean, run it under the hot tap and then prise out the softened wax with an extra thin wooden stick. Run under the tap again to remove the waxy residue. Dry well, then buff gently with a silver cleaning cloth.

On the same subject. I have a 5 and a 3 candle decoration, one for the fireplace and one for the table, if there's room. The easiest way to get all the candles standing to attention: take the candelabras to the kitchen sink - boil the kettle and dip the ends in the water then mold them in to the candelabra until they are standing straight. Dress the bottom end of the candles with an elastic decoration of leaves etc.

Your candles will burn for longer if you store them in the fridge.
