TEXT HI all, I desperatly need a diet buddy! Today is the first day of my diet .....I'm 5'4" and weigh 245...UGH!!! I'm trying WW point system, but can't afford to attend the meetings. Have you considered joining a TOPS chapter? It's very affordable and the plan is simple, with nothing special to buy. The registration and dues are a fraction of the cost of WW. As encouragement, they give out trinkets at weight-loss milestones (these vary by chapter). The chapter I'm in gives a bracelet at 5lbs, and charms for every 10lbs, and for monthly best loser. There are levels of area, state and national recognition too. I'm doing this for myself, but I'm thinking about how cool it would be to get recognition at next year's State Recognition Day! ;D You are on the way, with just being willing to try something. May I suggest CEA-HOW.org It is Compulsive Eaters Anonymous-[the HOW stands for Honesty, Openness,Willingness. It is a terrific program and is pennies per week.

;)Hi everyone, the kids go back to school here on Tuesday so I figure its as good a time as any to get mylife back on track. I jumped on the scale today and it said ouch!!
