HERSHEY FUDGE (original recipe from can)
2/3 cup cocoa 3 cups sugar 1/8 tsp. salt 1½ cups milk ¼ cup butter 1 tsp. vanilla
In a 3 quart pan, combine the first three ingredients. Add milk gradually. Mix and bring to a boil on high heat, stirring constantly. Reduce heat to medium and continue to cook without stirring; 232° or soft ball stage. Remove from heat and add butter and vanilla. DO NOT STIR! Cool to 110°. <br>Beat by hand till fudge loses its gloss. Spread in an 8 x 8 x 2 lightly buttered pan. Cool and cut in squares.
