No Bake Divinity 1 pkg. of Jiffy or Betty Crocker Fluffy White Frosting Mix 1/3 cup LIGHT corn syrup 1 tsp. vanilla 1/2 cup BOILING water 1 pkg. (16oz) Confectioners sugar 1 cup chopped nuts (whatever kind you like) or chopped peppermint candy or finely chopped bits of chocolate. Traditionally this recipe calls for chopped pecans or walnuts. Combine dry frosting mix, corn syrup, vanilla and boiling water in a small mixer bowl. Beat on high speed unitl soft peaks form. (about 5 min.) Transfer this mixture to a large mixing bowl. On low speed (or by hand with lots of elbow grease) gradually blend in the powdered sugar. Stir in the nuts or what ever else you are adding. Drop by spoonful onto waxed paper. when the outside to the candy feels firm or dry, turn the candy over and allow it to sit for 12 hrs. Store in an air tight container. HELPFUL TIP! This is a "fussy" candy to make. It will only set on days filled with sunshine. Rainy days are too humid and the candy will not set. Jay
