1 cup cream-style corn 2 eggs 3/4 cup milk 2 teaspoons baking powder 2 cups all-purpose flour 1 teaspoon salt 3/4 cup diced ham oil for deep frying Mix together corn, eggs, milk, flour, baking powder, salt, and diced ham. Heat oil in deep-fryer or deep kettle to about 365°. Drop batter by heaping tablespoons into deep hot fat; fry until golden brown. Serve hot, with applesauce or sweet and sour sauce, if desired.
