my dad remembers that his russian mennonite grandmother used to bake a flat cookie bar that he remembers was called something like succocoke(?)....we don't know the correct spelling of the name...he said she made a flat sweet bread and put it on a cookie sheet and bent the edges up so it was like a trough...she than would put a cream and sugar mixture onto it and bake it til hard, take it out of the oven, put more milk and sugar mixture onto it and bake it until hard...she would do this in layers...my dad said it became a sweet hard cookie bar that he would break a hunk off of and put in his pocket for later... does anyone have a recipe for this anywhere, please? thanks, ciara
