Breadmachine - Crescent/Croissant Rolls
1/2 cup milk 1 egg 2 cups all purpose flour 1/2 teaspoon salt 1/4 cup oil 1/4 cup sugar 1 1/2 teaspoons of active dry yeast 1 tablespoon melted butter
Except for the melted butter, put all ingredients in the bread pan in the order given by the machine's manufacturer. Use the dough setting and turn on. When the dough cycle is done, remove dough from pan. Place onto floured surface. Shape dough into a log. Use a sharp knife to cut dough into 2 pieces. Roll each piece into a ball. Roll each piece out into a 8 to 10 inch wide circle. Use a pizza cutter to cut into 8 triangle shaped pieces. Start at the wide end and roll each triangle up. Place the point side down onto ungreased baking sheet. Let rise in a warm oven for 30 - 45 minutes, or until doubled in size. Remove from oven. Preheat oven to 375 degrees F. Brush the melted butter over the rolls. Bake 12 - 15 minutes, until golden brown. Makes 16 rolls.

Here is another one I just got. It seems to be a bit more involved than the first one.
Breadmachine Crescent Rolls
1/2 cup milk 2 eggs 1/4 cup butter or margarine, cut up 3 cups bread flour 3 tablespoons sugar 3/4 teaspoon salt 1 1/4 teaspoons active dry yeast or bread machine yeast 2 tablespoons melted butter
Add all the ingredients except the melted buter to a 1 1/2 or 2 pound machine according to the manufacturer's directions. Select dough cycle. Remove dough when cycle is complete. Punch down. Cover and let rest for 10 minutes. Divide the dough in 2. Roll each into a 12 inch circle on a lightly floured surface. Brush each circle with half of the melted butter. Cut each circle into 8 wedges with a pizza cutter. Loosely roll the wide end of each wedge towards the point. Place point side down, 2 - 3 inches apart on lightly greased baking sheets. Cover and let rise in a warm place for 30 to 40 minutes or until nearly double. Bake in a 375 degree F oven for 8- 10 minutes or until golden. Remove from baking sheets; cool on wire racks. Makes 16 crescent rolls.
