Cabbage Roll Casserole This is a an easy version of cabbage rolls. I've enjoyed it for years at "Pot luck suppers". It's easy to put together and pop in the frig to be cooked the next day.
1 lb. regular ground beef 1 onion, chopped 1 tsp. salt Dash of pepper Garlic powder to taste 1 Tbsp. Worcestershire sauce 1 10 oz. can tomato soup 1 cup water 3 Tbsp. rice 3 cups coarsely shredded cabbage Grated or sliced cheese 1. Brown ground beef. Add onion, salt, pepper, garlic powder and Worcestershire sauce and cook until golden. 2. Drain excess fat. Stir in soup, water and rice. 3. Place cabbage in cassserole. Pour meat mixture over cabbage. 4. Cover and bake for 1-1/2 at 325F. Add grated cheese or cheese slices for last 5 minutes of cooking.Makes 4 servings.
