Add some pineapple to your next stir fry with this simple recipe.
Ingredients:
3 cups pre-cooked instant rice, prepared according to instructions 1 can (14 ounce) pineapple chunks, drained, reserve juice 2 Tablespoon orange juice 2 Tablespoon vinegar 2 Tablespoon soy sauce 1 Tablespoon cornstarch 1/4 teaspoon garlic powder 1/4 teaspoon crushed chili peppers 1/4 teaspoon ground ginger 1 Tbsp oil 2-1/2 cups assorted canned vegetables 1 can (6.5 ounce) flakes of ham Preparation:
For sauce, stir together pineapple juice, orange juice, vinegar, soy sauce, cornstarch and seasonings. Set aside. Preheat large skillet over medium-high heat. Add oil. Add vegetables and stir until tender. Add sauce. Cook and stir until thickened. Add ham. Stir until heated through. Serve with hot rice. If desired, sprinkle with toasted sesame seeds or sliced green onion.
