Double Chocolate Chip Cookies
1 Package Devils Food Cake Mix 1/2 cup butter or margarine 1 tsp vanilla 2 eggs 1/2 cup chopped nuts (optional) 1 cup semisweet chocolate chips
Heat oven to 350* F. Beat half of dry cake mix, the butter, vanilla and eggs until smooth. Stir in rest of cake mix, nuts and chips. Drop on ungreased cookie sheet. Bake 10 – 12 minutes until edges are set and centers on soft. Cool on rack.
I use rounded cup of chips and use butter. Also use a spring scoop so only gets about 30 cookies. They take about 12 min.
Can also use white or lemon cake mix with coconut is good.
Or can use cherry chip cake mix - I haven't tried that one yet, but my niece told me when I gave her this recipe..
