2 Tbsp shortening 1 onion, thinly sliced 3 lbs beef short ribs 1 tsp ginger 2 tsp dry mustard 2 Tbsp sugar 1 tsp salt 1/4 tsp pepper 1 clove garlic 2 Tbsp chopped parsley 2 Tbsp soy sauce 2 Tbsp white vinegar 1/2 cup water
Heat cooker add shortening. Saute onion lightly. Remove. Brown ribs on all sides. Combine remaining ingredients and pour over ribs. Top with onion. Close cover completely. Place regulator on vent pipe and bring up to pressure. Cook with regulator gently rocking for 25 minutes. Let pressure drop of its own accord
