Pace Picante Sauce
1 can (10 ¾ oz) tomato puree 1 1/3 cups water 1/3 cup chopped Spanish onion ¼ cup fresh jalapeno peppers ( with seeds) 2 tablespoons white vinegar ¼ teaspoon dried minced onion ¼ teaspoon dried minced garlic
Combine all ingredients in saucepan over medium heat. Bring to boil. Simmer for 30 minutes or until thick. Refrigerate.
Makes 2 cups.
