Jellied Cranberry Salad 3 oranges, 2 apples, 1 qt. cranberries, 2 C. sugar 1/2 C. chopped pecans 1/2 C. hot water, 2 boxes black cherry jello (you can use any flavor of red jello, but black cherry is the BEST!) --- In a food processor, or by hand, coarsely grind the fruits, but do not peel them. Add sugar and wait until it dissolves before adding the nuts and the jello mixture. Stir in hot water and chill until set. It's tart and sweet and crunchy. Partial Make Ahead Directions: Freezing directions: chop fruits, add sugar and freeze. Defrost on serving day (or the night before) and add nuts, hot water, and jello. Chill until set. You can freeze them in two portions, use one for Thanksgiving and one for Christmas. Jay
