Lotvarrick (Apple Butter)
2 QT apple cider 2 QT apples 2 cups sugar 2 cups corn syrup or cooked pumpkin 1 tsp. cinnamon
Boil cider til reduced to 1 QT. Peel, core and slice apples. Add to cider and cook slowly til begins to thicken, stirring most of time. Add remaining ingredients and keep cooking til quite thick. Makes 5 - 6 pints.
