HOT BACON DRESSING (approx. 4 servings) Cook 1 lb. of bacon until it is done enough that you can crumble it when it cools. Set aside. In Mixing Bowl, combine: 2C Sugar 2tsp Salt 2-4 Eggs (depending on size) 1C White Vinegar 4C Water Preheat MD/LG Skillet....lightly greased....to med/high Pour ingredients from mixing bowl into skillet and heat just to boiling. Add crumbled bacon. Add flour or cornstarch to thicken to about the consistency of gravy....and it's done. Traditionally, this was served over lettuce, endive, or dandelions. I have also found it to be quite good when served over potatoes....prepared however you like them....with the exception of french fries....I haven't tried it on them....yet!!
