A Mennonite noodle that was a staple depression food.
3 cups flour pinch salt 3 eggs 1/2 cup milk 1 can diced tomatoes 2 tablespoons margerine
Mix flour, eggs, salt , and milk to make a stiff dough. Snip chunks of the dough into a large pot of boiling water. Don't put too much in at one time because they need to float so that they don't stick together. Boil until they are firm. Drain. Add tomatoes and margarine and mix.
