Hi Barbara, thank you so much for your sweet words in the newsletter. I know that God will help the whole family through all the holidays and all our days to come. He has pulled me thru so far already. My grandson lives in Mexia and drives to Corsicana to work. He does work at Guardian and they have been really good to him. He had been in the Marines and was injured in Falujia. He was hit in the thigh with a bullet and shrapnel. They made him stay there instead of allowing him to go to Germany and get some really good physical therapy. His leg never really healed properly. He can walk, but he does have some pain. Anyway, after he went to work at Guardian he kept doing the same movement over and over and had to have surgery on his right wrist. Of all things!!! It wasn't carpel tunnel it was even worse than that so he was off work for 6 weeks. They were very good to him and when the doc gave him leave, he went back to work. He drives every day and I think there are several that carpool. He and his wife have a little boy who is a year old so I am a great-grandmother. Ha! He is actually my step-grandson, but we have a very good relationship. I hope he will be able to come to Jasper for Thanksgiving. He has a wonderful wife and is very happy. God bless you and I hope the holidays are great for you and yours! Sandi Hutson
