Re: HAPPY BIRTHDAY, NANCY!!!! « Reply #2 on Today at 2:07pm »
Sandi...Told you that I would get to you and here I am. Nancy was so helpful and I got registered so now I can go to the Patio whenever I want to. Don't you just love this newsletter? I have gotten so many good recipes from it. My passion is cooking for all the people that I love and that covers a bunch of folk. Sorry about the Grandson's injury and my sincere thanks to him for the sacrifice that he made for his country and all of us who love the US so much. My husband spent 20 years in the Coast Guard before having to take a medical retirement due to cancer at the age of 38. We lost him in 1976 and he is still so missed by everyone that ever knew him. Like I said though, God carries us through and He certainly has carried myself and my children through these years since he died. So nice to know more about you, your grandson and your family. I also have a great grandchild. He will be 4 on his next birthday which is coming up the end of this month. He is so cute and just full of energy. Such a blessing. Regards to your family and thanks for the lovely message. God Bless. Barbara in Corsicana bcookin New Member

Barbara, how old are you? I am 59 and will be 60 in February. Sorry you lost your hubby at such a young age. That must really be the hardest of all especially when you have children to continue to raise. I have wondered how these young mothers do it when they lose their husbands in their 20's or so. Well, I will give your message to Casey and I know he will appreciate it. I am glad you came into the patio. You are right about this being the best newsletter around. Nancy is a jewel!!! Hugs to you and yours, Sandi
