Easy Slow Cooker Chicken Divan
4 chicken breast 2 (10 oz.) pkgs. broccoli flowerettes 2 cans cream of chicken soup 1/2 cup Miracle Whip 1/2 to 1 teaspoon lemon juice 1 cup cheddar cheese, shredded salt & pepper to taste
Rinse off the chicken breast and pat dry. Mix the soups, Miracle Whip, add the salt/pepper and lemon juice together. Lightly spray the inside of the crock with Pam. Put the broccoli in the bottom of the crock pot and add ½ of the soup mixture. Add the chicken breast and pour the rest of the soup mixture over the chicken. Let this cook on low for 6 hours. The last 5 to 10 minutes add the cheese and let it melt. Serves 4.
Notes: A lot of times our boneless skinless chicken breast are not defrosted when I put them in the slow cooker. I use this as a last minute recipe. I have put this together on high and had dinner in 3½ to 4 hours. The chicken was done because I cooked it on high.
