Here is a recipe for Poppy Seed Dressing:
Poppy Seed Dressing

What kind of oil should I use and what type a vinegar?
Thanks for any help.

Hi pmac,
I use olive oil and either red wine vinegar or white wine vinegar. You could also use balsamic vinegar. Anyone else have a suggestion?
Hope this helps!!!

I always use seasoned rice vineagar and olive oil. EXCEPT lately the olive oil has started clumping when it is put in the fridge. Sometimes I just use regular vegetable oil.

I prefer grapeseed or a light olive oil and a spiced vinegar is good but am not too fussed about the vinegar as I am about my oil .... salad dressing sounds good tho on a different note but referring to poppy seeds, a lot of companies drug test workers and poppy seeds show up the worker needs to stipulate he/she has eaten them! A legal drug hows that have a great day!
