Dear Nancy, I have written before and told you how much I appreciate the newsletter. I especially enjoy the requests and replys. I don't how others would feel about this but have you ever given thought to having nothing but requests and replys in a newsletter. Maby just every so often. Some of the best recipes I've gotten have been supplied by various members.
Just a suggestion. Thanks again for all your work.

Dee, basically that is what is happening. Recipes are sent out with the Just Recipes version of the newsletter and Nancy's Kitchen is used for the replies and responses.
I do appreciate any suggestions. It is the members that make the newsletter.

With regards to requests and replies and the newsletter. I was thinking that requests are great in the newsletter, but the replies, in my own opinion, would be better if posted on the message board, in the appropriate section. This would free up space in the newsletter for Nancy's recipes, plus people might find other recipes or even post more. Anyone else have any thoughts on this?

I agree with Carnation. If we all would post a reply on the message board, not only would "our group" benefit, but those who get to the message board from other links. Not only that, it might be less work for Nancy, who already goes above and beyond to help us.
As Carnation said, others could see the recipes posted as well....and will save room in the newsletter if Nancy just puts a note that says request for_____are answered in the messge board....
Good Suggestion!

Since 1996 Nancy's Kitchen and Recipe Exchange has been a recipe exchange newsletter. This recipe message board is another option for those that prefer sending their requests through the message board. There are some members that would probably never post a request or reply to a message board. If there are those that wish just recipes in the newsletter the Just Recipes may be the version of the newsletter for them. It has nothing but recipes. It is only $7 a year which is a very small amount to pay for 11-12 pages of recipes three times a week. That amounts to over 1500 pages of recipes per year. (3 times a month X11 pages per newsletter X48 weeks a year. I take off several weeks a year for vacation.) To subscribe through PayPal www.aliciasrecipes.com/nancys_recipes_Sign_Up.htmAlternative Payment Method: send check to Nancy Rogers, PO Box 956, Canyon, TX 79015 (Please email me you are sending a check so I can watch for it.) I agree with Nancy! However, we can all go to the Message Board - as Nancy suggests, and try to help answer questions there. We can also submit recipes to the newsletters and try to help those who ask for special recipes there. Anything that we can do will help us all!!!!!
