Would you like a glass of water or Coca-Cola? In many states in the USA, the highway patrol carries two gallons of Coca-Cola in the truck to remove blood from the highway after a car accident. You can put a T-bone steak in a bowl of Coca-Cola and it will be gone in two days. To clean a toilet: Pour a can of Coca-Cola into the toilet bowl and let the "real thing" sit for one hour, then flush clean. The citric acid in Coca-Cola removes stains from vitreous china. To remove rust spots from chrome car bumpers: Rub the bumper with a crumpled up piece of Reynolds Wrap aluminum foil dipped in Coca-Cola. To clean corrosion from car battery terminals: Pour a can of Coca-Cola over the terminals to bubble away the corrosion. To loosen a rusted bolt: Applying a cloth soaked in Coca-Cola to the rusted bolt for several minutes. To remove grease from clothes: Empty a can of coke into a load of greasy clothes, add detergent, and run through a regular cycle. The Coca-Cola will help loosen grease stains. It will also clean road haze from your windshield. FOR YOUR INFORMATION: The active ingredient in Coke is phosphoric acid. Its PH is 2.8. It will dissolve a nail in about 4 days. To carry Coca-Cola syrup (the concentrate), the commercial trucks must use the "Hazardous Material" place cards reserved for highly corrosive materials. The distributors of Coca-Cola have been using it to clean the engines of their trucks for about 20 years! Now the question is, would you like a glass of water or Coca-Cola? Water is sounding pretty GOOD to me too! Always With My Best, Baking Bud

Hi Homemade! When I was a kid, there was a liquor store that we all went into to get our sodas and candy. By the soda machine, as these were still the all glass bottles, the tile right below where you popped the lid was eaten away. When anyone would ask what happened to the tile, the guy would say, "Oh, that is where the coke spills from opening the bottles, and it EATS the floor away." Still, fearing this, what was my favorite drink? Classic Coke! I just LOVED the fizz and burn of that first good taste! Maybe now I should question 'what' was being burned away?!! Everytime we turn around there is something bad in what we eat or drink... Amazing we live as long as we do! Always With My Best, Baking Bud

Facts about soda: Each regular can of soda that you consume has about 10 teaspoons of sugar, and about 150 calories per 12 ounces! Can you IMAGINE how much is in the Super Size drinks everyone seems to order, to get that better deal for their money?!! So, if you don't want to gain weight and won't give up your soda, then carefully calculate the damage of them into your daily intake of food. Just think, a couple of cans of soda and you'll have to give up that cheeseburger that you love!
