I knew there was one other book I had wanted to put down but it was for Nicholas Sparks not Nicholas Evans.
It's called a Bend in the Road. A friend of mine borrowed it and that's why I couldn't remember the name of it.

;D ;D Books one of my favourite things! I've read so many although I prefer factual books. The following are my favourites (fictional) All Patricia Cornwell novels .... can't devour them quickly enough. All James Herbert novels ..... horror WOW and does he do it well factual books ..... Angela's Ashes fancy not being able to remember who wrote it but I read it when visiting inlaws, it was their book. Annie's Box ... this was so sad but such a wonderful read; author Randal Keynes

:)Here are some of my favorite authors. I enjoy reading any books written by Ann Tyler, Rosamunde Pilcher, Mary Higgins Clark, and Fern Michaels.
However, one of my very favorite series of books are those written by Diane Mott Davidson. I enjoy the mystery in each of her books, but I also enjoy the recipes that are included in each of her books. I always wait until the book comes out in paperback. I have just finished reading "Sticks And Scones." I have just started reading "Chopping Spree." I have made some her recipes, and we have enjoyed them. I hope that you will too.

I have never been much of a reader, but recently by accident (or luck) I found an Irish writer by the name of Maeve Binchy. I read "Tara Road", and instantly fell in love with her books. I am now reading "The Glass Lake" So far, so good!
