To get the odor out of your baking stone use a paste of 1/2 cup of
baking soda and 3 tbls of water. Apply paste to surface and let stand
15 - 20 min. Scrape off excess using a nylon pan scraper, rinse in
clear water and let dry thoroughly then store. Hope this helps. ms
