Base: 4 Tbsp. butter or margerine 1 c. sugar 2 c. flour 1 tsp. baking powder 2 eggs 4 Tbsp. milk
Cream butter and sugar, Add eggs. and milk Mix dry ingreidents together and add to cream mixture. Mix well.
Line bottom of a 13"x9"x2" greased pan withdough mixture. spread cooled pineapple filling over dough.
Pineapple filling:
1 large can crushed pineapple 3 Tbsp. cornstarch 1/2 c. sugar Cook until thick and clear. Cool
Cheese filling:
1 lb cottage cheese 1 c. sour cream 1 1/2 c sugar 4 eggs, separated 1 tsp. vanilla
Blend sour cream and sugar. Add yolks and cheese. mix well Beat egg whites until stiff, fold into cheese mixture and add vanilla. Spread on top of pineapple mixture Bake @ 375 degrees for 45 minutes or longer until golden brown.
