From: "Joleene" <posts@chitterlings.com> Subject: More Soulful Recipes - December 18th, 2003 Date: Thu, 18 Dec 2003 08:40:14 -0500 More Soulful Recipes - December 18th, 2003 Publisher: Willie Crawford - Editor: Joleene chitterlings.com From: "Carroll" Subject: Blue Cheese Ball Blue Cheese Ball 1/3 lb Blue Cheese, room temp. 1/4 cup Butter, room temp. 1/3 lb Riccota Cheese 1 teaspoon Fresh Garlic, minced 1 tablespoon Fresh chopped Parsley 2 tablespoons Chopped chives or green onions 2 drops Liquid Smoke 2-3 drops Hot sauce 1/2 cup Toasted Hazelnuts 1/2 cup Millanaise(made by mixing 1 cup dry bread crumbs, 1 cup parmesan cheese, 1 cup salad oil, 1 teaspoon salt) Mix all ingredients well except pecans & millanaise. Roll into 2 separate balls and refrigerate until firmly set, about 30 minutes. Toss one ball into the chopped hazelnuts and coat well. Toss one ball into the millanaise mix and coat well. Serve with your favorite bread. This can be made into a dip by adding 3/4 cup whole milk.
