Teriyaki Sauce
1 1/2 cups soy sauce 1 1/2 cups brown sugar 4 tablespoons ketchup 2 tablespoons mirin or sherry 1/4 teaspoon seasoned salt 1/4 teaspoon pepper 6 cloves crushed garlic 1/8 teaspoon onion salt -- optional 4 tablespoons grated fresh ginger
Directions: Mix all of the ingredients in a saucepan and heat just to a simmer. Do not boil. Must be stored in the refrigerator. Recipe can be cut in half for smaller recipe needs.
