1 cup ketchup 1/4 cup brown sugar, firmly packed 1 Tblsp white vinegar 1 Tblsp water 1 Tblsp instant minced onion 2 Tblsp Worcestershire sauce 2 Tblsp mustard
In a medium sized bowl, mix together all ingredients. Store in refrigerator until ready to use. Stir before using. makes about 1 1/3 cups
Barbecue Safety Tip: If you plan on using any kind of sauce or marinade (that was used on raw meats) for grilling and also for dipping, pour a little into a separate bowl for brushing the sauce on the raw meat. And use the remaining sauce for dipping. Or cook the sauce or marinade before using for dipping. That way you won't use sauce that may have raw meat juices in it from the BBQ brush or marinating.
