Eating apples 450g (1 lb) sliced butter 25g (1oz) vanilla essence- few drops milk 150 ml (3/5 cup) curd cheese 100g (30z) eggs 2 caster sugar 25 g (1oz)
Cooking cook the apples gently in butter and vanilla essence until slightly soft, place in a buttered ovenproof dish. Beat together the milk, cheese, eggs, and sugar. Pour over the apples. Bake at 190c (375 degrees) gas oven for 25 minutes. Serve hot.
